Mostly if not all positive reviews so far. Can't wait for these to hit the dealers so I can decide for myself.

Quickly reading through the autoblog review, it is just as i expected.
As i go through the other reviews later, im sure the conclusion would be largely the same.

The new car is the same, but better.

Doesn't make me regret choosing a 2020 instead of waiting for the 2022, especially since i was never in the "TOO SLOW!! needs more POWAH!!!!" camp.

Ultimately i might prefer the first gen still, not because i have one, but because the 2nd gen addressed alot of the complaints of the first gen, but it lost a little bit of personality in the process.

Redline reviewer states that the MT car does not get BSM or RCTA, but I don't think that's correct. Anyone know for certain?

I heard it was due to the Eyesight system not available on the MT cars.
So there might be truth to it.

I guess Eyesight comes as an all or nothing system. You either get all the safety systems, even the ones that doesnt really work with an MT equipped car, or get nothing at all.

According to the Subaru promo material, it is a trim dependent option. It comes on the limited trim and not the premium.

Bet you that is going to be very high on the list of first mods.

Looks like it has an OEM oil cooler standard now....would love to put this engine in my 2020 one day. I am sure kits will be available in a year or two. I am just curious how difficult that would be. The trans looks to be upgraded; lower viscosity oil, improved bearings, improved 4th gear synchro, etc, for less crunchy shifts.

Really I just want the 2022 drive train in my 2020!

Hey'o. It can walk an ND2 Miata! Woohoo.

Liked this review vs the GTI. Good comparison, actually. Plenty of good turbo FWD cars out there that for daily driving the decision isn't always clear-cut anymore.
