Word of wise..
If you drive a mid 2000's Convertible Miata with a tan soft top, don't even try to say your car is better than a FRS/BRZ.
Haters will hate!

Posts like this always make me wonder what made the OP so defensive to begin with. Did you recently go to a HPDE/autox and lose, or just meet an owner who was a jerk? |

I own both a mid-2000's convertible Miata with a tan top and an FR-S.
In their current states, my Miata (no turbo) will send the FR-S home crying like a little girl that just got spanked. With some attention paid to the FR-S, that may change. But for now, it is my Miata's bitch. -Justin |

People have to get real, Miataes and S2000s will kick the FR-S in the fun department. I own both before and I have to say that's where I stand.
However, my FR-S kick their arses in the practicality department....so on the flip side, my FR-S worth more to me! |

Miatas are great machines. So connected, so agile.
If I had to decide between one and an FT86, it would come down to fun vs. practicality. The Miata is far more fun, the FT86 is far more practical. |

FWIW, the FR-S is our practical car.

i had a chance to witness a 2005ish miata with an LS1 conversion and perfectly setup suspenion bomb around Mosport International Raceway (50/50 weight distribution)
it was an awesome machine.
