I got some stuff from Japan a while back, small stuff, cusco accelerator pedal cover(easier heal-toe) and ENDLESS front brake pads for a track day. The brake pads were phenomenal

Yeah, left that out by mistake. Including the traction control stuff as well, would look kinda weird leaving that part silver. Maybe I'll see if he could find some cheap duracon/delrin shift knobs at upgarage or something so I don't have to burn my hands on hot days anymore lol.

Is it the same as the FR-S buttons?

I would try to get several Tomica cars. I would need a shipping crate if I ever went to Japan.

Depends on how you want to do it. You have to give it power from somewhere. I wired it to front fog lights, so I went through the cabin and used a fusetap. Most people just tap and wire into rear brake light or rear running light.

The connector is the same (3pin), you just need to add a wire and pin on the vehicle side connector

Me no have fog lights
But I’m sure it’s not too difficult to find an alternate power source, like you pointed out. Is the JDM triangle light LED? Did you install a switch for the rear fog?

No. It comes as a standard 7440 bulb. You can switch out to an LED replacement if you want.

I don't have a separare rear fog switch. I toggle it with my front fog switch

Exact same buttons. Only differences are on the 2017+ models and auto which has additional "sport" and "snow" buttons in the middle for some reason.

I'm having my friend hunt down a set of TOMs tail lights on yahoo Japan auctions and at upgarages near his place. The stock tails pre 2017 are just not my cup of tea which is why I'm currently using clear Valentis. Also rocking clear valenti reverse lights + 4th brake lights as well.

Yeah, going for jdm spec. My Valentis are nice but I do appreciate the more mature and almost-OEM look to TOMs while still being plenty stylish.

Ok gotcha, and it makes perfect sense to tap into the front fogs then. Maybe I could go with an LED triangle light, and not do the rear fog. I just want it to match ok to my tail lights.

Yeah the 2017+ has a Track button instead of Sport. And it’s a different ECU program. For someone looking for black buttons I guess the FR-S ones could work? Which models had silver buttons?

I know the 2013-2016 tails aren’t everyone’s favorite, I just like the more stock look. And you’re right, Tom’s lights look awesome and near OEM.

How do you like the Valenti triangle light? Would it stand out too much from the stock tails?
