New Head Unit Wiring Question

I'm replacing my stock head unit with a JVC Nav I have left over from my last car.

From trolling around this thread for awhile it sounds like the FRS has an amp only for the front door speakers. For those who have wired up a new head unit did you just connect the amplified speaker outputs from your new head unit or wire in the RCA pre-amp outputs?

Any help on the speaker wiring would be appreciated!

Just finished installing my pioneer last night. If you buy a harness for the FRS, the blue wire in your JVC harness when connected to your aftermarket harness will turn the amp on.

I used the beatsonic kit but others like the Metra kit should do the same thing.

The power antenna wire on the harness needs to be connected. Thats the power to the amp.
