To retain factory USB socket: Metra AX-TOYUSB...
Product page at Sonic Electronix.

I also have an adapter to retain the aux jack, which also provides leads for the reverse gear and vehicle speed signal (VSS). I could include wires for the factory mic, but I don't think anyone wants to mess with that (since it's amplified, requires power, and won't work with an aftermarket HU without some extra circuitry).

See this post for notes about connecting to the power antenna and amp remote leads.

The Scosche LSAAB antenna adapter converts from a male Motorola plug (for the aftermarket HU) to both older- and newer-style Lexus antenna sockets (so their one part will work in more models/years). There are other antenna adapters with just the one socket that the BRZ and FR-S need. See this post.

ADDED: I now have all of those adapters available on my site (Toyota USB, 28-pin aux, and Lexus antenna adapter). Contact me via e-mail (see 'ordering' information on my site. If you do send a PM, please include your e-mail.

The plug doesn't seem to match in this picutre... will the actual prodcut plug directly into the factory usb connector? Whats the part for aux? I'm looking to wire up my kenwood dnx6990hd to the factory usb and aux location. This unit has the aux and usb ports hardwire to the head unit and just terminates at a standard female usb and female aux port so i just need to plug a cable into there and plug the other end into the factory ports. I was about to try wiring up my own adapter but if you have stuff already made that would be ideal

actually i just looked at it again... does that cable plug into the female usb from the aftermarket unit and then the stock cable plugs into that? If that's correct, just need to see how the aux comes into play

Yes that's how that USB cable works. It plugs into the factory wires and USB plugs into aftermarket head unit. His aux adapter plugs into the factory harness and then the RCA cable plug into the aux input on the aftermarket heady it.

Do you happen to know what that aux adapter is called or a link to it on that site by any chance?
