hub centric ring help

So I picked up some hub centric rings for my TC105N

56.1mm to 73.1mm They dont seem to fit quite right. But I've never installed hub centric rings. I feel like the rings should go into the wheel more then this:

What do you guys think?

Some hub centric rings are a tight fit, making sure it stays on. You could use a mallet and tap it slightly until it sits flush in the bore.

I've had some which are a loose fit which falls off as soon as u take the wheels off.

Well, if the backside of the wheel does not contact the rotor when installed, then it's not going to work.

Google came up with this among other things.

Also, it might be the picture but that flange looks a bit too big for the countersink.

The problem is that you have the wrong size hubcentric ring. TC105N in 5x100 have a inner diameter of 65mm. Try rings with 56.1x65

What if you need to go the other way? Can the center bore be accurately increased? My winter wheel/tire set up for my 2015 Corolla has a 54.1 center bore, so close to fitting on my 86 with a 56.1 mm bore.

It isn't a matter of accuracy it may weaken the wheel.

Yeah, I could see that. I guess I just need to buy another setup or put the car away for winter. This was my first winter with the 86 and I didn't drive it.
