I noticed you have a 2013 as well, are you still on your original motor? My only gripe is that my motor is already at 166,000 km's but it has been without any hiccups.

I would be on my original engine, but Toyota barfed on my engine with the valve spring recall. Then they gave me a used engine with unknown condition that had a timing chain guide break

No, that's why I gave up on that engine and bought a second car, to make sure I build this car once and build it right. I would've been totally fine at this point I think if I had never done the valve spring recall, my original motor was in way better shape than the used million mile junkyard heap they put in as a "favor" to me.

Anyway, on topic- stock exhaust is a restriction, but it's not like you can't make power with it. I will say- if you have an internal or recirculating wastegate that routes BACK into your exhaust, it will become a bigger restriction- I am using an external wastegate, so the majority of exhaust gasses added by the turbo are being dumped straight toward the dirt

Yeah my worry wasn't about not making max power, but just if there would be any detriment to running it in the first place. I would like to run it with an open dump as well, so that clears that up. Would you have any sound clips with on by chance?

So....after going through 92 slides. Is there a clear Air Filter that works FROM the inlet pipe and NOT directly from the turbo?

Last I read the RU-3120 seemed to work.

After reading this thread from beginning to end probably 5 times in the past 2 years, I bought the EL manifold and downpipe to compliment my JDL intercooler and JDL overpipe/front pipe combo. Just take all my money, it was just going to go to useless things like food and clothing anyway.

Does anyone have some good photos to share of their EL manifold? I know photos are out there, I'm just exited. As soon as Jesse told me that the EL and UEL manifolds place the turbo at the same spot, I was sold.

This might be a LONGSHOT but does any here want to trade a 3" downpipe for 2.5"? Lol.
