2020 Hakone Edition Green Pictures

Now that they are shipping, it is worth including the 2020 Hakone Edition green cars. Here is mine with just a couple of mods (shift knob, Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires, OEM mud flaps, trunk liner and rear bumper protector).

I love the arm rest. I miss it dearly

looks neat the rims are somewhat unique.

too bad it doesnt come with the performance package. would make the ultimate sort of grand tourer model for the 86 chassis

The armrest is still orderable and comes in black with red stitching. I have one in my 2015 FR-S. The slider tends to crack and break if you put too much weight on it. I had to purchase a spare to repair it.

I prefer this configuration since it makes it easier for me to use my existing 16" winter wheels. Further it rides a little more smoothly that if it had the Sachs dampers.

And a matching leather cover for the owners manual. The "2020 Quick Overview Manual" and the "2020 Head Unit" manual were missing though. I had to go online and download them to understand the features of the new head unit.

I think the bronze wheels are a bit much, but it'd look killer with some silver painted wheels. Maybe polished rims?

EDIT: actually, the BBS clones above look pretty good too...

I'd prefer it with GOLD wheels lol.

Love the interior combo on those as well.

My favorite part of the Seattle Auto Show was watching people fawn over the Hakone:

A couple shots I took a few weeks ago, before the windows got tinted, but while it was still clean:
