Attended our annual Fall cruise. Managed to get 20 cars together despite 2020 being a write off for most people.

I was within a couple of hundred kilometres of Ottawa yesterday. If I had know there was a cruise I could have planned on attending. If you guys wouldn’t have minded an Outback intruder.

the TRD Quickshifter is junk. I have the STI short shifter if u're interested. I'm in socal, OC area.

I just installed the quickshifter, too, paired with the STI short shifter. If it doesn't crap out on me, it will be an interesting combo

Oops already installed it. It's not too bad, actually. The throw paired with MTEC springs are wild, honestly almost TOO short. That said, it doesn't feel bad, it's just a bit clunkier than stock. What worries me is it coming loose one of these days.

That said, yes gimme gimme.

Sent you a PM.

Damn, you gotta tell me how that feels. I feel like I'd be money shifting all over town haha

Edit: Side note, but I LOVE the bushing that the Quickshifter comes with. Anyone know if it's compatible with a stock/STI shifter? Would save me the $30 for the perrin one!

Not at all. We had a couple people make a 2 hour drive from Quebec.
I will be sure to remember that next year when we figure out a date.

Bumper cover was badly damaged from a hit and run just before the meet, and decided to send it anyways.

The STI shifter adds just a minor amount of change from the OE but it's a quality piece. So far, the quickshifter + STI feels amazing! Even though I put red threadlocker on it, I still have reservations of the bolt actually staying on. Time will tell!

I had that TuRD Quickshifter in there and it wasn't as noticeable as I thought as the 86's shifter throws are short to begin with, compared to my old GS-R. When the Quickshifter's bolt started to get loose, and finally came out completely, that was scary. Never knew if I could get it in gear or not.
