Again bumping this thread.
Gpvecchi, any updates on this? I just got the pro-kit for my '13 gt86, bought on ebay.de
Got the box without new bump stops. Emailed the Eibach customer service (in Germany) and been told that this kit is meant to work with the original struts AND the oe bump stops.
What is the general thinking about it? I just want to know if to shorten them or not.

Sorry, I did not went Eibach at last. Usually Pro Kit uses stock bumps stop, but if you check eibach.de website it will give you mounting procedure. If you post your Eibach part number I can check for you.

This is the code:
E10-82-043-01-22

For those who might be interested, I found this:
https://www.vividracing.com/productd...DMWF/D3173.pdf
where basically it is said to replace the oe bump stops.

The eibach guy told me this: "The spring set E10-82-043-01-22 does not include any bump stops. You can use the OE ones. In the TÜV approval please find further information/part number (page 5)."

@gpvecchi if you have other docs/sources feel free to share

Thats the manual for the US Eibachs, different part number.
This is the one for your EU springs:
https://media.carparts-cat.com/pdf/E...9/E1082043.pdf
As you can see, it says stock bumper and their size.

Ok, than I will save the time to cut the oe bumps, and see if the ride will be ok.

One trick I've done in the past is put something around the shaft that can slide (like a small zip tie) as the shocks compress. Then go for a test drive and throw the car around really hard and then stop to check how far the zip tie traveled. If it gets pushed all the way to the bump stop then may need to cut them. If you aren't even getting close then you are probably good to leave them uncut. I've have had setups where my spring free length was too short for the rate and there wasn't enough travel so I would ride the bump stops too much and it will make the car handle like complete crap. If the front suspension hits the stops its close to an infinite spring rate which makes the car push like crazy. If you're mid turn and the car seems to randomly push as the road ungulates then you are most likely on and off the stops.

Old thread but figured I'd give my data point. Installed this kit last night. It's a stop gap for now until I get adjustable coilovers probably in a year, but I just wanted something that got me some camber, as I'll be doing some track days and didn't want something that plowed.

With the drop and SPC camber bolts up front, I was able to get -2.4* front camber and -2.0* in the back.

I'll have it on track in a month so we'll see how it does with RS4s.

Stock wheels/stock suspension:

17x8 +35 RPF1s with 235/45 RS4s, still on all stock suspension (4x4 look):

17x8 +35 RPF1s with 235/45 RS4s with Eibach Pro Kit and front SPC Crash bolts:
