He's on the left. In that I'm about 6'2, 32" leg, 170 lb (it's a damn old pic!). He must've been around 230 lb there. He's got presence.

Anyway, back to topic - I found a thread from last year someone put in a Sparco EVO 2 QRT on Planted side mount rails, no sliders, and that seemed to gain 3"+. That could be the ticket for us.

Would still like to know how much space there is removing the headliner. From the DIY removal threads looks to be about 1/2-1"

Cheers All,

I think it is more than that. I'll take a picture of what's left of my roof. Think of it this way, the map lights and bluetooth speaker are at least an inch thick if not bigger and the entire headliner hides that fact.

That's the link to the two pictures I took from both doors of my car with no headliner. Apparently pictures aren't working on the forum atm. Let me know if that suffices.

I am 6’1 and I have Recaro spg with nagasi rails, with side mounted seat and it has plenty of room up top even with the helmet. Granted everyone who sit in my car has problem driving my car when I get my car service.

FWIW - I'm 6'3", 265lbs with a 34" inseam. I fit in the car just fine. Seat is actually one click from the back, I like sitting a little closer to the wheel then most, and I still have enough leg space to heel-toe and all that. Head room I got an inch and a half. My autocross helmet is a bit wedged against the ceiling but I fit.

It's worth noting seating position matters quite a bit. Idk if it's the same for all of em, but in mine (2017 86) as you go forward you gain a bit more head room.

My boss is 6'4 about 240 something not super fit but not fat either and he looedk insanely uncomfortable as soon as he sat in my car. he and I were cracking up how he made my car look like a toy lmao. When I saw him squeeze in our car, it was the one time I was happy to be 5'11 and not in the 6s lmao
