But yeah, fortunately I got seen for it fairly quickly and then I had like 3 nurses, including a couple student nurses waiting on me hand and foot and worrying because I needed a new tetanus shot right away (injury caused by potentially rusty metal, lol). |

Yeah, like the time I needed stitches and sat waiting for long enough that when the doctor got to me he said "oh, you don't really need the stitches now, but since you waited, let's get them done"

Recovery was like 5 weeks, but then still dealt with some pain for another 6 or 7 months afterwards if I made a weird movement. |

Now, THAT reminds me of a back-in-my-childhood days. When I was about 14 I got these really bad headaches every day. So, when all my grandparents home remedies didn't work and the local vet gave up, they put me into a hospital in the big city.
After several X-rays they concluded I had a brain tumor. So they drilled two holes in my head (I still have the dents where they drilled), to try to remove the tumor. I remember this large busted nurse would come to my bedside and lay her huge, warm, firm breasts on my arm ......... They didn't find any tumor ......... but, I rarely had a headache after that ...... humfrz |

Nice. Got the Play Store set up on the Fire tablet. Bit more of a pain than I expected, but all in all, took about 10 minutes.
Already pretty impressed with this thing. It's pretty damn smooth scrolling, didn't see that coming at all. |

I was riding my Polaris Scrambler 500, came around a flat corner at close to full throttle (although not full speed, a Scrambler would do 70MPH, and since it uses a CVT it had a reverse override so it would do it in reverse if you wanted). There was a fallen log across the trail. Hit it straight on and went over the handlebars landing on my shoulder. Didn't realize it was broken until about an hour later. I rode back to base camp and was nursing my wounds. At the time I had had a persistent cough for about 6 months. I coughed, and it hurt so bad my body said "nope, not going to do that again". That was the last time I coughed but it was also when I realized something wasn't exactly right. A collarbone is almost if not as bad as rib. It can't be isolated and it moves every time you breathe. Very painful.
