Hey Guillaume, how is the match between the 2015 WRB and earlier WRB in your opinion?

I'm thinking about doing this on my 2013.

Thanks!

So I've finally got around to install mine. The following is a picture of my stock antenna before I took it out. Notice that the 2 prongs actually sits inside the roof hole.

I also notice my 2013 Canadian BRZ sport tech did NOT have both wires on the original antenna, the one meant for satellite radio. Not that I'm planning to get the service but don't know if anyone else is seeing this.

Hey Voyager. How's the paint match in your opinion? WRB, right?

thanks for the clarification, I couldn't remember if it was the prongs on the antenna or if it was something on the bolt that was pushing against the roof. Anyways I can't be bothered to re-check it now, but I'll revise the original post to avoid confusion.

Also don't worry about not having the XM wire. Canadian 2013 Sport-techs came with the Pioneer X9310BT and did not have XM radio capability. 2014+ models have XM capability since they switched to the nav units that US spec BRZs have.

Hi Trap63, What BRZ model do you have? I have a 2013 model in Australia. Im just not too sure if the connectors are compatible with the 2015 shark fin? The Subaru dealers in Australia are close to hopeless! Thanks for your reply in advance.

so mate, here in Italy the BRZ came out on 2013 only as higher grade "Limited", full opts but without navi (stock with the poor green stone...). The 2015MY has DAB radio "optional" and 2015 sharkfin, therefore I believe that people without this opt have same plug. I know that DAB Radio is installed by dealers in Italy removing the "poor green stone".
The 2013 plug is the same of MY2015 but , for us, without DAB radio 2nd wire.
Here in Italy we can choose only paint and HU.

Is there any change in Asphalt color over the model years?
Would be a great alternative to beat sonic. So far I did not read anything about affecting the Navigation (got a German GT86 with touch&go). Does the GPS antenna sit in another location?

I know that in Europe GPS antenna is near front left speaker, upper.
About colours, only white and wrb are modified , you find 2015 code paint on post #1.

Thanks very much! Then the GPS antenna must be in a similar destination as the Webasto heater's antenna.
