STi front lip and LED DRLs. Car is still on jack stands, hence the 4x4 look.

Was able to buy the front lip through my local dealer, they had it in their warehouse so I got it the next day after ordering. LED DRLs I got through FT86 Speed Factory.

No instructions available for installing either of these. Had to wing it. I took a lot of pictures of the STi lip install and hope to put together a DIY on it.

This looks great. Did you paint it black? The left one looks silver. Also, did you paint your headlights?

No painting, just the lighting / potato camera on my iPhone.

Are your FT86 DRLs functioning? How did you wire them? How bright are they? Pictures? I am curious how the wiring will work since I am contemplating a 17bumper retrofit on my 14.

How did you wire them? I tapped the existing DRL wires on the driver side headlight. I used a standard T-style wire tap on the red and black wires. The colors likely won't help you though as the wiring to the headlights is slightly different on the '17s. I just used a multi-meter to figure out which wire got power when I wanted power. On the '17s the boomerang is always on, so I tapped into the boomerang wiring.
Pictures? I haven't taken a lot of pix yet, but here's a functional one from last week - before I added the STi lip.

The weather has been shit on the days that I've had the car running. Somehow I'm always working on it on the days where it's nice outside.

Excellent, excellent, thank you! I figured there would have to be some sort of cutting and splicing. Those look nice and bright. Great job.

No problem.

This is the connector I used:

For the tapping, I de-pinned the connector on the wiring harness they give you, and then cut off the pins and put the flat end connector on the ends of the wires. This gives me an easily reversible install if I ever wanted to remove them.

They give you a bunch of zip ties / square adhesive blocks for the zip ties, that made it easy to run the harness along the radiator support. I just pulled off the top of the plastic radiator shroud and front of the intake to make it easy to access. I then zip tied the harness on either side to the fog light wiring to keep it localized to where I wanted it.

Nothing new in terms of parts. Just some of the already available items adapted to the 2017.

I think their new direction now is to make STI Sport into a new Subaru standard trim level for all of their cars just as I suspected all along. Another step closer to worldwide export.
