It can't be a Fujitsubo imo if it's based on how the STI Sport Muffler is constructed, it's just doesn't speak their design. I actually think it could be a Tanabe.

Same with the STI wheels where the initial assumption was being BBS, but in fact it's Enkei (in line with its lower price compare to the BBS variants for the WRX STI).

Moto and some reps from Cusco confirmed that it is a Fujitsubo. I mean yes there could be error but with Moto's passion for the car I'm inclined to put stock in his verification. Also, to my knowledge, the wheels on the tS are BBS, but the wheels offered for public sale via the STI performance catalog (translation: the ones we all bought) are Enkeis

If it's a BBS wheel from STI, it would have this marking on the rim away from the STI marking (which the BRZ tS wheels obviously don't have)

I thought there were two levels of trim for the 2013 tS... the standard tS with enkeis , and STi trimmed stock style seats, no boot spoiler, and the 250 units in tS GT trim with BBS wheels, Recaros, and carbon GT wing ?.

I also agree that the muffler should be a Fujitsubo. If we assume also the ridiculous pricing ...

I like Fujitsubo, but not their prices

The car test driven by Edward Loh at Motor Trend is a BRZ tS GT package. It was mentioned in the article that the wheels are Enkei. The wheels are the same on both trims.

I make myself feel better by looking at this comparison:

STI

LFA

It will be mine. Oh yes, it will be mine.

This is my next purchase once the USD/JPY exchange rate increases...

Nice! Post pics/review once you get it.

I'm going after the full Fujitsubo setup.

Right now I have the Authorize R catback. In the winter I'll buy the Fujitsubo Dual Resonated Front Pipe & than in the future I'll get the Fujitsubo Catted Header which comes with the OP

If the STI Sport Muffler is too much money, here's a cheaper / ricer alternative: STI exhaust tips from the Levorg STI Sport. I bet it'll be on Japanparts soon.

Pfff for a $375k car I wish it comes with something better finish looking than a suitcase muffler, titanium or otherwise. /sarc

I know it's packaging issue.

Yeah, people 99.9% of people could care less that it is Titanium. For that price I expect a sexy design. Not a FRS tin can...oh wait, Titanium can.
