Shit an STI oil filter shipped from Japanparts to Canada now costs like 6 standard oil filters from the local Subaru dealer.

You had to dremel to take that off? How was it held onto the black backing? No glue?

yes you need to take off the two stoppers on back with dremel. No glue, only stopper. When you rebuild, you need to make 2 adding holes (larger) to fill with silicone glue for windshield. "t" is chrome (poor) and matte painted, you can remove clear coat with solvent (gently).
I am "chroming" it now for better results .

I was looking on JapaParts.com and I see they added a new version of the STI gauge cluster. https://www.japanparts.com/parts/detail/44561

Anyone know the difference between the two? I know one is for 2013 and one is for 2015, but are the interchangeable? What is the difference between them?

Model D (MY2015) #840 TS

Probably has to do with the circuit board than anything cosmetic.

Update: found out that the tS subframe already comes with the STi differential mounts. So with that being said...anyone want to buy the extra set off me . Never used of course and looking at selling it for the same cost I bought it for. If interested, PM me.

Hmm that is interesting... how much was the subframe itself again? That makes the cost a little more sensible since no need for bushings and the labor to install them.

Submit your question through the "Ask About Product" form? I've had similar questions in the past, for other products, and was able to get a response within a day or so.

I was wondering the same thing about the STI pedal set would be cool to have.

Some new styling direction with the new S207 it seems, i.e. check out the corner of its new front lip, chrome ring around the center cap, some silver paint inside, etc.
