I am also looking for the new strut, in order to match the 18" wheel in the
future.

No sure what's STI plan or definition which is pretty confused.

BRZ STI ts use: Showa silver

BRZ Production: Bilstein yellow

BRZ STI ts concept (2015): Bilstein yellow

Another question in my mind is the different between STI Bilstein yellow
and Bilstein B8

and also STI Showa silver and SHOWA tuning evolution.

It can save some money, if there is almost no different between the STI one.

Thanks.

Most likely the STI ones are custom spec valving in order to match a specific set of their springs. The B8 is probably a compromised spec valving for use with an array of different springs out on the market for this car. While the specs are different, the internals could be the same.

STI being a small shop with a limited run / market for their stuff, the prices will definitely be higher.

If you are doing a complete BRZ tS mechanical conversion then by all means, go with the silver set. With either set of shocks, just make sure you get the matching springs.

BTW the RA Racing spec car also has its own set of springs and shocks combo, but you can only buy that set with a valid VIN, and the cost is even higher than the STI Bilstein set IIRC.

Anyway I just hope STI doesn't pull a Brooklyn Bridge on us lol!

If anything it looks like sti went with Showa for the tS because the bilsteins were not production ready when the car was out, which is why it was released as a standalone later. Considering sti's history with bilstein, it's the "logical" choice. Not to fault the shows or anything as it was still designed and valves for the tS specifically.

It looks like the both STI yellow and silver use the same front and rear
spring. Let me more confused that yellow and silver strut has different
or not.><

Axles are just over 1000. I bought a whole bunch of items together: rear axles, the draw stiffener, steering rack bushings, cf driveshaft, for around 2500 total

BRZ Ts parts

How does it feel? The axle & flex stiffener.

As for bushing I'm interested in them but don't want more induced road noise& motion into cabin.

Don't worry about that for the steering rack bushings. I have them (along with the tS' nuts and bolts), great feel improvement but zero NVH increase.

Didn't have enough time to get the draw stiffener on. Ended up installing: cf drive shaft, sti rear axles, sti steering rack bushings and the associated bolts.

The cf drive shaft/rear axle combo has done wonders to the acceleration of the car. It improves the responsiveness and immediacy of the throttle. While the majority of the improvement will be attributed to the drive shaft (half the weight), the larger diameter rear axles (same weight as stock), in my opinion, still contribute together with drive shaft as the larger diameter transfers more torque for the same amount of rotation. Overall, the car revs quicker, and what was most surprising to me, a lot smoother. A lot of the harshness and vibration as the car accelerates has been softened or eliminated.

The steering rack bushings have removed the dead center of the steering wheel. It has better weight, feels more solid, and improved the feedback from the road. And as mentioned, did not increase NVH.
