I am putting together a list, but it is a lot more involved due to the push-button start also requiring the use of smart key (which means new door handles, steering column & covers, ECU's, oscillators, etc.).

Outstanding find! This will make it so much easier for those here to get the parts they need to customize their vehicles. Hopefully you will be able to capitolize on this a little bit and sell them.

Cast pistons and rods, sorry. Subaru has since stopped using forged internals in their cars since v7 STI which was a early mid 2000s. Apart from a few flat-6s. Cranks are typically still forged however in various models. Not sure about FA20. Pistons and rods are definitely cast.

IDK about that, the rods in this picture were forged.

Hmm I am missing something then? In that picture those look like cast rods, similar to the cast rods on the FB20 asymmetrical connecting rods. I don't see any additional pillar supports from the rods or any markings that give me any indication that its forged. Maybe im stupid.

Sample: EJ20 and FB20 Cast Connecting Rods

The key is the parting line. A casting has a thin line where the two mold halves met, with a slight draft angle to either side that helped the part release from the mold. This can be seen in your second picture, those rods are cast. A forged part has a thick strip in the same location, it's where excess metal was squeezed away from the part during the forging process and then cut away afterwards with a blanking die. That strip can be seen on the rods in the picture I posted.

Request,

Can we get into the wheels section and see if the 16" oem wheels have a P/N yet? What about optional 18" wheels?

If it requires all that, then it might not be worth it. There are some aftermarket push start systems that have proximity and are less than $300.

But yeah get the list together, I could build up something like just the dual ac panel and put the aftermarket push start button where the stock one is.

You rock bro!

Does that mean the standard Scion key is NOT a smart key (requires no programming when you lose it, can be easily duplicated?) If so, that's a WIN in my book.
