Will the FR-S forum seperate from the 86/GT-86 forum?

Just wondering.

No, not unless there are enough differences.

IMO it doesn't even make sense for the BRZ to be seperate post-release.

I doubt it since its really almost all the same car other then a few cosmetic differences as far as we have been told. Unless the FRS is drasticly different or the subie has different suspension. I could be wrong though.

It does for no other reason than to make the forum less crowded. With all the noob posts and info lately, it is hard to sift through useful threads. Imagine when these cars are released and you have hundreds of new threads a day. A general section for FRS, GT86, BRZ would be useful. Now for engine, tuning..etc. subforums, you could probably just lump it all together.

The cars are too similar. I don't want to search 3 subforums for an answer to something. Other cars with likely higher numbers get by with one general info forum so there's no reason we can't.

Cause search function is so hard to use? Sorry had to use that. If you have a question for your particular model, I am sure someone else in your subforum has the same question. Crazy enough as it is now. At least the BRZ section is somewhat easy to sort through and there aren't as many noobs there. lol

Isn't this what the Regional Forums are for?

Regional forums are more for meetups, getting to know other people in your general area, working on the car together, going to drift events together, figuring on a good tuner to use...etc. Not so much for technical analysis.

I did say search. I think it's a lot easier and if it's done differently it leads to a split between the brands... as stupid as it sounds.

There are some ITR guys from personal experience that shun non-ITR owners even if the question is directly ITR related. It's stupid. And these cars are even more similar so I don't understand the need or desire to split them into different forums.

For now it isn't so bad... Lol just lots of updates. I haven't told anyone to search yet since there's 20 threads constantly being popped up.

Only completely flamed 1 person so far. Other than that.. I'm on.. "watch" duty for people stealing photos and claiming their own on other websites.

Regional forum are all fine and dandy, but an all encompassing FR-S (North American) forum would be better.

I also wish BRZ and FR-S/86 forums were recombined. The cars come from the same plant, they are the same car.

General discussion should combine all models. (maybe BRZ should have it's own area)

regional discussion should go to regional area.

easy isn't it??!!

this is a good idea but it might end up with all FRZ discussion there and split up again. maybe have a combined US regional area with a sub-page for meets?
