Not that i know of. The only models i know that have different wheels and tire sizes are the Performance Package and tS for the BRZ

Would 18x9.5 +45 offset cause any rubbing on Coilovers lowered 1 inch?

From way I understand +38 is the way to go but the majority of the wheels with a +38 offset that I want are backordered/ out of stock.

I checked on Wheelitfit and it shows -6mm on suspension which I assume mean it will rub against the suspension. But in the fitment industry gallery I see quite a few with that exact set up without any spacers or any problems on the fitment.

Looking to pull the pin on a set of wheels in the near future. I’ve pretty much read this whole thread and the millions of pics in associated threads. Love the meaty tyre thread and the thread containing all wheel fitment - awesome resources for newbies.

Just thought it best to triple check fitment here to be safe. Ive had relatively flush fitment on my cars in the past (current below), but given the 86 is my daily I’m looking for something that adds a bit of width, but won’t cause any scrubbing issues when pushing. I’ve come up with the below, which (hopefully) will fill out the guards nicely, but not give too much poke.

18x9 ET45-47 (front)
18x9 ET38 (rear)
245/35/18s

I’m looking to lower on coilovers (likely ST based on advice here given they’re well priced and appear to be relatively comfortable) at the time of fitting wheels, or shortly after.

I believe the front may have trouble clearing the front spring before I fit coilovers. Will the above width / offset avoid notable poke once lowered (25-30mm)?

It will fit, but the biggest tire you can use will be a 255/35/18.

You will not be able to fit 18x9 ET45-47 on stock suspension. Honestly, wait till you get your coilovers installed even then that +47 offset is way too high you maybe able to fit it with a smaller tire size.

Yes, once you are lowered it will not poke out as much and you will be close to flush. I would honestly look for a lower offset wheel for the fronts something close to your offset in the rear.

OK, I found the issue with wheelitfit.com and worked with them to correct.
The rear camber stock value (and according natural camber) is wrong.

I had picked 45-47 for the front after seeing 18x8.75 ET35 and 18x9.5 ET40s on the front of some other cars here. Both of these had more poke than I was after, even after lowering / camber.

I thought ET45 on a 9” front would be ok once lowered as this is still further from the strut than the 18x9.5 ET40 (and similar to an 18x9.5 ET38 which seems quite common), but offers quite a bit less poke. Many of the 18x9.5 ET38/40 listed in the meaty tyres thread have 255/265s fitted to the front, so I assumed I’d be ok with a 245/35.

Sounds like I might need to do a bit more research based on the above - I’ll ditch the ET47 option at least. My other option is to fit 8.5s to the front, but I’d really prefer not to stagger.

I think you would be okay with ET45 on a 9" wheel it will fit with coilovers no problem, so if you like that look that would work. Yep with coilovers ive seen people fit 18x9.5 +45 wheels as well.

Yeah i cant recommend staggering on this platform. Yeah the ET47 is just too high i think ET45 or less would be the best option for you. Also, i would still suggest getting your wheels after you get your coilovers installed. Good luck on your search!

I put 17x9 +40 wheels with 255/40R17 RS4's on front and back for my track setup. Running stock struts, camber plates maxed, and camber bolts, getting 3.2* camber up front. I had to put a 3mm spacer on the fronts in order to clear the strut. There's no poke at the top.

I am looking to see if I can fit a bit more tire on this setup. (A car I'm looking to pick up next week)
Going to be replacing all 4 tires and would like to put as much rubber as I can in a square setup.
Can I fit 265/35/R18 Square? Or should I stick with 255/35?

- Work Emotion XD9 in Bronze 18x10 +38mm offset

- Veluzza ZXV4 255/55R18
- Greddy Rocket Bunny V2 front bumper
- Todoroki 30mm Over-Fenders

The 30mm extra front fenders can really help space the tires out so there isn't rubbing, same with the spacers.

Hey all Im planning on buying a set of wheels for my BRZ with stock suspension. The wheels themselves are 18x8 with +45 offset. I am concerned about tire fitment and rubbing on stock suspension. I believe a 235 40 18r tire would fit with these wheels and my stock suspension but I would like to know if anyone is running this or a similar set up on their stock ft86.

I have also attached the wheel fitment from wheel it fit, I appreciate any help I can get from the community!

Theres not going to be rubbing anywhere whatsoever that wheel spec is pretty conservative. One thing to note is your tire choice is a pretty tall tire compared to stock specs, i would suggest using a 225/40/18.
