I wouldn't rack limit, how about less offset .. if you dead set on those wheels then spacers but I prefer less offset.. I say it will probably rub since I run 17x9 with 45 offset and get just a smidge of rub on full deflect lowered just over an inch, so 9.5 might be more than a smidge. Every car is different and I'm not using Ohlin's, I have HKS but don't think that matters or the amount lowered for that matter.

245/40 all around .. a 255/40 will fit on a 17x9 fine without a lot of buldge depending on tire.. in the front would be close to rub at 45 offset like having a 9.5.. you could stagger with the smaller tire up front but I don't like stagger on this car

Hey guys. I have a stock 2016 FRS with stock tire (215 45R17, 48mm offset) and I'm looking to get the TRD forged rims for 86: https://parts.toyota.com/p/Toyota_20...2018160GR.html
Reading from the rims' specs (17x7.5, 43mm), it looks like they should fit my stock tires. But the Toyota dealer told me they don't fit according to the fit calculator on the Toyota website. Can someone help to confirm this, please? Also I might consider switching to 225 45R17 in the future, I think they should fit as well but good to get some confirmation here |

Stock sized tires 215mm wide should definitely fit on 7.5 wide wheels, and even within "ideal" range of that wheel width. Sounds like BS

From what i understand the clearance on the B6 is similar to stock shocks so that should fit. There are threads on here with people using 235/40 tire size on stock shocks with that wheel size so your 225/40 should fit.

Hi all, planning on getting new wheels that are 18x9.5 +38 and plan on getting Michelin Pilot Sport 4 S tires in 245/35/18. The car is currently lowered on RaceComp Engineering Yellow Springs with stock struts. Will the wheels and tires fit? I have read mixed comments regarding that, I don't mind a little rub at full lock so long as its not scraping against the wheel.
Thanks in advance to everyone. |

I think the car is currently around -1.4 to -1.6 deg up front right now, so it should be good. I wasn't really worried about the rear since I've seen that people are running 275 with stock body in rear lol. |

For your reference, i had 17x9 +38 rims with 245/40R17 tires. Max camber i could run was -1.7 before the rims hit the shock perch |
