Will this fit? (width, offset and tire size Qs)
OK guys, I have been getting a LOT of PMs from people asking if certain combinations will fit. I just assemble this information from all of the other topics on this site, so this topic is going to be only for asking if a certain wheel dimension/offset or tire size should fit and the experts can help answer.
Start at the Wheel Directory and read up on what other people have already done: http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=7535 Make sure that you post ALL of the pertinent information in your question so that the answer can be posted without a lot of back and forth. Please specify the wheel size, width, offset, complete tire size and the amount your car is lowered.

@jinrawke - An 18x8.0 +32 will be 6mm sunken at stock height since a +38 is flush. If the car is lowered 1" then the camber will cause the top of the wheel to sink another 2mm, so you would end up 8mm sunk at the top of the wheel. Not too bad... that is about 5/16" sunken and would look fine.
At the rear at stock height an 18x8 +32 will be flush. If you plan to lower your car 1" then you will sink the tops of the wheels 5mm... which would still look totally fine. A smiley face is a link to a topic where someone on the site has actually installed that wheel spec... and a star represents perfect flush AT STOCK HEIGHT.

You might be getting too technical trying to add the camber in too as most people on spring drops won't be able to adjust it anyways. My best tool is the offset calculator on 1010tires.com I think it gives the best idea we can get without actually test fitting.

although i do think adding the camber into the equation will help people out down the road when it comes to more technical fitment.

Awesome thread, i always wanted to ask about my choice but didnt want to start yet another thread.
Ive been looking at some enkei SR6 & EV5 and they have 2 choices of offset. Ill be dropping on springs 1" when i get the wheels and using the stock rubber. What is the best offset choice? SR6 = 17x7.5 offset available (40,50) EV5 = 17x7 offset available (38,45) |

lower number on either one. 7.5 +40 would be my choice out of those.

Hey guys would 18x9.5 +34 fit all around? What size tires would be good? I'm trying not to go for too much stretch as the roads around me are bad and i would rash the crap out of these if I stretched them too much. I was thinking 18x9.5 +34 on 235.. would I need coilovers or would a mild drop (1 inch) with a rear camber kit be enough to fit these.. sorry for the detailed question lol
