Craig from Leith texted me last night, said my car should be here in 8-10 days!!!
Which would be about a 1.5 month wait. I ordered on June 28. |

Ordered a 6MT CBS BRZ from National Subaru in Jacksonville, NC on July 5. Patiently awaiting to be able to put my collection of parts on her. Looking forward to meeting up with fellow BRZ/FRS owners as soon as I have the car. Last word I heard was late Aug - mid Sept.

Yea yours should be coming first or they are both on the same shipment. Honestly, I was surprised when Craig said 8-10 days, I was expecting it towards the end of August. Now I'm pumped because I'm taking my vacation time in mid August so its going to be perfect!

Home safe and sound in Wilmington with her garage mate.
I love this car. It drives as good or better than I thought it would. I'm trying to behave and keep it under 4k for the 1000 mile break-in period, but it's hard. Right when you get to 4k, the engine wants to come alive. I was contemplating coil-overs, but the suspension is terrific already. I won't be tracking much, so I'll probably just grab some Eibach Pro-Kits and Konis. I want a little drop since it seems a tad high to me, but not nearly as bad as some photos make it look. Pro-kits drop an inch and that should be perfect. The driver side cockpit is really well laid-out. Everything is where it needs to be. E-brake is a perfect rest for your right hand when not shifting. Steering feels glorious. The car communicates everything. I feel like I know exactly what this car wants to do. I'll get some better pictures when it wants to get sunny again. :happy0180:

Hi guys. New to the forum and have been creeping here for sometime. I placed a 500 refundable deposit at vannyork Toyota in high point for asphalt my FRS. Can't wait to test drive and possibly buy it.
Anyone here around the Triad (Hp, gbo, Winston) area? I am in hp and work around gbo. |

Thanks man. I was a bit frustrated with all the scion/Toyota dealerships around town because none of them had a FRS. The ones who did have one were all AT and all kept saying yes we know the demand is high for a MT (I'm thinking why would you not carry more MTs if you know the demand is so high)? so finally decided to order mine with no frills.
