It seems plenty tires come in that size. It's the same width as stock with 3/4" more sidewall height.
I could combine this wheel/tire set with the 1.5" lift spacer kit for the ultimate dirt road setup, but I'm curious if it fits without raising the suspension so I could just swap wheels for street/dirt. Last edited by Lelandjt; 07-12-2022 at 09:07 PM. |

Tire Rack has 106 tires in that size.
Unfortunately no all terrain options. Only touring, performance, and winter. Another size option is 215/60-16, with a very similar height to 215/55-17. Yokohama Geolandar A/T G015 exists in that size, and Tire Rack lists 86 options for 16" wheels that fit. 215/60-16 is about a 1.5" increase in diameter from the stock 215/45-17. Or about .75" less clearance from the tire to the inner wheel well. One way to check would be to load up a corner to max compression by jacking up from under the tire. Then check clearance from tire to inner wheel well. Make sure to do one front and one back wheel. |
