I ended up doing the 15F / 20R with the stock 215s and the car looks great IMO. I am going up to 225s soon. I think the 20F and 25R would also work without any poke.

Ok perfect.
I Am thinking about going 20f 25r on eibach pro kit springs. What spacers did you end up getting? I saw some on eBay for like $80 for all 4.

Just make it easy on yourself, do 20mm front and 25mm rear. Any bolt on ones will work in front or back as long as the bolts on the car don't protrude too far past the spacers and hit the back of the wheel. It seems like it's only in that weird in between area, 15mm, that it might hit the back of the wheel which is why it's just best to go to 20mm. It's only using the slip on ones above 5mm where you need the extended bolts. I struggled with this a lot on the 17x7.5 +45 wheels I had prior. In fact, my 20mm spacer was not enough and my bolts actually touched the wheel, so I had to grind out a little on the wheel to fit. In the end it was just 20mm front/25mm rear and done...perfect adjusting some. Using the stock wheels, it seems like nobody had any issues before with any 20 or 25 spacers so no metal removal needed. Then when you want aftermarket wheels, which is a huge possibility with this car, you just sell the spacers and pop on new wheels with less offset and save $100 plus labor on extended bolts you don't need any more.

Even better than all this spacer business. Sell the OEMwheel/tires and put that towards a wider wheel and tire and better offset to begin with. You will get better grip from a wider/stickier tire, it will look better due to that offset and wheel width pushing it out and you will spend less in the end. All we are doing with the spacers is just buying our time because it's almost inevitable you are going to just get the correct aftermarket size any way if you intend to keep the car.

I see a lambo, ferrari and McLarens here and there but that one RS1.0 FRS that drives around by me with nice correctly fitting black aftermarket wheels always grabs my attention more.

The rears will bolt on.


The fronts you will have to remove the stock studs and replace them with longer studs. This is easy. Remove the wheel. Remove the brake rotor. use a ball joint separator to remove and install the studs.

My $0.02
I'd get at least 10mm fronts. IMO, you won't notice the 5mm fronts when compared to the 25mm rears.

Don't think I've seen any 2017+ wheels in this thread. Here are mine with 20mm front/25mm rear, lowered on TRD springs, no other suspension mods:
