You taught me never to park anywhere near the handicapped spaces.
They are known to be disabled so that should be fair warning.
I am sure you will not make that mistake again.

What is that supposed to mean?
There are good and bad drivers of all kinds and I doubt that being disabled automatically makes you bad.

I don't think that being disabled makes you a bad driver.

However, 90% of the time I see senior citizens being the ones with the handicap permits and even though there's some great senior drivers, there's also the ones who aren't so good anymore just due to age.

It's just a correlation in this case.

The whole "seniors should be forced to retake licensing after a age" thing has supporters for a reason.

I think that's what he meant. I'm giving him the benefit of the doubt because it doesn't look like his English is too great.

Yeah some asshole hit my old 97 Type-R at a Subway before. I was in there for 3 minutes at most. Pissed me off. At least be a fucking man about it and leave a note or wait.

My parents have handicap tags. I'm surprised they aren't in more accidents. Not that all are like that but my parents scare me when I ride with them lol

I think his point was to say that we should be more cautious around handicapped drivers because they have some type of impairment, not necessarily that handicapped = disabled = bad drivers.

Meh, English, words, stuffs.

I have invested in a dashcam just for this reason. I back into all my parking spots so the camera can see them. It sits on standby and activates when it detects motion the battery will last at least 4 hours when not powered by the car. Granted this isn't fool proof either but if it doesn't capture the plates it will for sure at least see the car and identifying things about it and maybe even the person.

Hmmmmmm
I guess the moral of the story is to not park or drive where there are 16 to 30 or 71 to dead year olds.

Not making it better there dude!
If people were saying a certain race was worse at driving everybody here would be screaming.
If people were saying that anybody under the age of 20 were bad drivers half the people here would be screaming.
Being disabled in some way does not automatically mean you have an "impairment".
Many may actually be better drivers since they are more cautious.

Anyone see Sam Schmidt (paraplegic) driving a Corvette on the street course at Long Beach last year? He literally drove with his head - sensors monitored for left/right head motion and a sip/spit straw was used for accel/braking. He did 80 mph!

Amazing what can be done with today's tech!

Another correlation the older you get the less likely you are to break rules?

I'm currently using the Rexing V1 and routed a long usb cable hidden through he headliner over to the glovebox along with wire to my radar detector, it goes to a usb and cigarette light adapter which is plugged into a Lukas LP530 UPS, good for 6-8 hours of continous video and that's if I accidentally leave the radar detector on.

Bear in mind this puts a lot of wear on the SD card doing the continuous recording as well as heat buildup on the dashcam in a hot car in the summer. I wouldn't recommend doing it all the time with the UPS in the summer, fact it's only logical to use if you know for a fact the car will be unattended out of sight range for more than 1-2 hours, in the winter and spring I keep it running all the time, in the summer I disconnect the ups and run its internal battery and car power. Also I have 3 sd cards in the car one in the dash cam and 2 in the glove box in case one needs to be switched out and can be sent in for sandisk warranty replacement if something happens.
