Frist impressions, Blizzak ws80 are noisy! It gets so annoying sometimes.

Also, i have noticed that the car feels different, like it does not feel as fun as with my 17 inch STI wheels and primacy summer tires. (Im not sure why..)

Keep in mind that this tires are fat! Makes sense since tires needs more threat on snow, but IMO it does not look as good compare to my thin profile primacy tires.

Obviously, this tires are meant for cold freezing days and snow days, so i will see the full advantages on having them throughout the winter.

I will post some pics of how my car looks within the next few days.

Yeah I've had mine on for a few weeks now, they're great! But they feel really weird to drive on when the ground is dry. Almost like if you're driving when its really windy.

That is exactly how it felt this morning on my way to work. I even check my tire pressure in all 4 tires to make sure that they are balance properly and they are. So i guess this is the behavior of this tires...

My understanding was that this tires were great under temperatures below 44 F, hopefully they get better as winter starts to come in harder.

Not fat as far of tire width, but fat as tire sidewall. My car looks like a truck now..

They feel like that because these snow tires are super soft. I hate how snow tires handle but, being in ny, I have to have a set. Although its early December and its still 50 degrees out O_O. With my luck it won't even snow this year haha

Dude that is the same thing I'm thinking!, its fckin december and averages are 50 WTF!, i bought this tires because winter is rough on this area.

WS series Blizzak are the more hardcore (excluding the ice tires) of the Blizzak line. Depending on what you want and how badly you need to drive in snow, the more performance oriented LM Blizzaks may be a better choice. All depends on your needs. I have a truck as well, so the LMs were an easy choice for me. LMs will last longer as well.

Ive had a set for a while now, Maine winters are NOT nice. They really do a great job...car is obviously very light, so getting some momentum on a hill can be tough.

I am really not sure, I picked up the wheels and tires (mounted) from a friendly local member...he had them on an old Subaru. I am not sure what they are...didn't check the barrels when I mounted them up. I can check in the morning...but I covered the wheels inside and out, with plasti-dip, may be tough to tell. They are a pretty light weight 16x7.

I just got my first set of ws80s put on this week. Ordered them from TR last week, and the next day red an article in the paper how all of December was going to be uncharacteristically mild... Probably should have waited, but I'd rather have them on a wee bit too early than not have them in time.

I also bought LM-32s last year thinking that here in MD/DE we get a lot more rain/cold than snow/ice. I also figured they might keep the snow away - worked pretty well last year! I have a second set of factory rims for them - put them on right before Thanksgiving. Been really mild here again so far. Luckily, I can't really comment on their snow/ice performance! They are noisier than the stock summer tires for sure, but not obnoxious. Dry handling is not as crisp (of course). Fun factor is actually pretty high - with these tires you can feel the rear of the car moving around at lower speeds, which is actually pretty cool.

I've got a set on mine, got them last year and they're amazing. Was humiliating SUVs and crossovers left and right. I found putting a large sand bag in the trunk helps with traction as well.. not to mention you could always pop it open if you do get stuck on the ice
