Yes, it will be quite a change but I've done stranger switches and my daily driver in the summer is a 1977 Toyota Hilux. So I am guessing that a BRZ will be a starship compared to that.

You would be absolutely amazed at how many "old" guys there are on here and own these cars!
Like the sales person I bought mine from said the main markets for these are the young single professional and the older "empty nesters" that want something fun that they couldn't have when raising a family.

Ya the BRZ will be a couple of steps up from a 77 Hilux! (although I would love a Hilux as a toy)

I'm 50. Hardly an empty nester though, my youngest is 7. He loves to ride in the FR-S in the back with the passenger seat all the way forward. That's our ritual when I drop him off to Sunday school in the months it is on the road.

Since my car is quite modded at this point, there is a decent chance I will keep it a long time and it might end up looking like a well worn 90's Miata looks now when you see them out in the summer. Depending on insurance, maybe my son will be driving the FR-S when he's old enough.
