ecutek felxfuel tuning for crawford BPB
Who is selling flexfuel tune for BPB?
Or should I just by a regular flexfuel tune? |

Supposedly, standard flex fuel tunes lose power with BPB. It would probably be advised to get a dynotune to get most power.

The Crawford BPB (intake risers) are a modification that I recommend getting tuned for. While they will make more power in the mid to upper RPM range, without being tuned for you will experience power loss in other areas of the RPM range. This applies to factory and aftermarket tunes, as the BPB changes engine VE at different RPMs.
Tuning for the BPB will recoup those losses and add additional mid-upper RPM power. - Bob |

My tuner did a great job, not sure what your talking about. If you look at anybody that has tuned these blocks all their dynos have the same drop after 7k. Anybody installing these is aware of that. If u look at the graph closely the first line is flexfuel + catless fp. Second line is with the blocks installed on an existing tune which lost us about 10 hp and last line is after a retune which we gained all the power back. But we are all aware that full power comes on earlier and we lose up top. Moral of story is that if u have a tune already get an updated tune.

As long as you are happy man.
cbf explaining but minimising the lost up top is key and couple of guys on this forum had done a better job without needing to not show it by stopping the run early, especially when this particular tuner loves 8k redline.

Ok I guess. Im happy with my tune car feels great so I guess thats what matters. Hopefully when I fix my exhaust leak I can get back on the dyno and try it again
