I considered going square with the Raijin 9.5's. You will need coilovers or it will not work.

It does steer/feel heavier since the fronts are bigger than stocks, but really its not too bad. I didn't think these wheels were worth it unless they were all concave.

Yes the clearance is just right with coilovers. I can concur that these do not work on factory suspension.

Thank You @ApolloSki they look great in 9.5 square. If you have anymore pictures from different angles that would be great.

Plasti dip them. However, hypersilver is not easy to get it done unless you want to powdercoat it.

I want raijin too
I was thinking the same thing when I get new wheels. "get silver and if I ever wanted black rims, just plasti dip it black." best of both worlds. haha

My car is dropped 1.8"s at all four corners on KW Coilovers, 18x8.5 up front and 18x9.5 in the rear with a 45 offset all around. Slight rubbing for me since I am so low, so I will need to raise it once I hit the track.

Any issues with 245/40? Is it too tall for ur taste?

Any rubbing issues 275/35 on the rear? What's a good front setup with that size? Thanks.

I have swift springs 1" with stock struts.

Are these wheels heavier than the stock? Doesn't it feel slower?

Hey everyone - really lovin' the sexiness of these Raijins. Question: Are these heavier than the stock OEM 17" rims of the FR-S & BRZ? Anyone, who has these on their cars feel it's heavier than stock or makes a difference to be a bit more sluggish now? Thanks thanks. I only have stock suspension (stock everything) :p

^ rear wheel weight at ~21lb, it's not too heavy compare to stock at ~20lbs. The part that heavy is the big tire.
Btw, has anyone installed 275x35 tires for the rear on this rim yet? 255 & 265 still look stretch for 9.5 rear.
