@GreenPants Looks like I have learnt something today. I knew the "nm" relates to the wavelength of the light and therefore the colour, but the numbers don't mean anything to me. It is a pity that there isn't something like a PMS colour chart and number comparison. If there is such a thing and someone finds one I would very much like someone to post a link to it for me as it could come in very handy in the future.

Well done @Trap63 - looks good.

Now you just need to get @GreenPants' startup animation loaded so you can have the spinning car instead of the android logo...

Look forward to seeng your reverse camera - I've ordered two different types to try and see which I like better. @Tech said he'd wire in for me.

That install looks great @Trap63. Can hardly see the camera at all.

Would you post another link to the camera. I think it was on eBay and they wouldn't ship to New Zealand as I recall. But, I can always use a forwarding company.

I'm looking for someone who would be able to do the coversion for me in Ontario, Canada.

Is this possible to do witha standard small soldering iron or is this considered micro soldering? I might attempt to do it myself.

I don't have the head unit yet, so maybe @Tech would be willing to let me buy it and ship it directly to his address do the swap for a fee and ship it to me over here in Canada?

Do you realise where New Zealand is in the world compared to Canada? It'd cost you an arm and a leg in freight if @Tech would do this.

Unfortunately, I DO know how far it is, I'm just not convinced I would trust any person to do the work on my 500$ Head unit, I might give it a go myself or look around to see if anyone in my area would easily be able to solder new led's on it, but I live in a small town, so people with such a talent are hard to come by.

Agreed, @Tech is a clever guy and they are rare to find. I'm lucky he's in our car club.

You could always visit our fair land on holiday!

I'm more of a tropical kind of holiday guy, but there is most likely some neat stuff to see and do in New Zealand, meet some lovely people such as yourselfs!

Any chance you can get a quote @nzer as to how much it would cost to ship a package the size the unit came in and the aproximate weight with your local post office? I would just ship it directly to @Tech place when buying it and he would have to ship it to me over here in Canada once he made the conversion.
