why not just say what it is? if your going to point out that somethings wrong at least give some useful info to help others out. not come in here just to start crap in another shops build to make you look better.

if you dont give any useful info your comment is pretty much useless if you cant back it up. need to go post your crap elsewhere if your going to do that

Dons been all over this engine,... upside down and sideways,...more than anyone else. I don't think he is hit and running/dissing your build or as someone has mentioned "jealous".....I do think he keeps a lot of secrets to himself though,... because its bad business to do the research and development,.... absorb the cost ,...then give it away for free,....he throws little hints out there though...(I don't think he can help himself),...one I caught about this tranny on another post,....it does have its limits for him, x2 ,and I'm sure he is working on a fix for it......My two cents from someone who at one time didn't like the guy (bad experience that later turned good), but now respect his knowledge and expertise on this platform.

@cf6mech i understand some shops dont want to give out to much info. why even say anything if you cant give some info. maybe the person who did the p&p on his heads messed up and thats why he lost air velocity who knows. anyway this is getting stupid if you cant give anymore info than that shouldnt say anything at all just my two cents. I will leave it at that

Well, that is how builds go when the owner does not have a clear picture up front about what they want the end product to be. Almost every page of this thread has you ordering more, newer, or different parts...

Not trying to diss you man, not in the least, but people need to understand how much time this adds to a build... they can easily grow from 1 month to 6 months or longer when your trying to hit a moving target.

I know some of the delays were due to supply issues... and you did not have the luxury of a running car when you started so you could not have called Toni up with a build sheet and had him order all of the parts ahead of time... but if you had been able to do that I'm sure it would have been in an out in no time.

Again, hope I don't offend you, but scope creep will kill a build timeline, everytime.

Shouldn't be long now though man

not offended at all..dont think any of the stuff I ordered or changed along the way effected the build time at all. it was all due to rods and the heads but i understand what your saying. Im not worried about the time line he can keep it for another 2 months if he needs to as long as its done right which i know it will be.

Only reason i changed some stuff was because i knew parts were delayed and i knew we had the time to get them in before everything had to go back in. hell half the time tony was a step a head of me and was going to suggest the changes anyway lol

Why do you spend your time providing vague reasoning and not explaining yourself? You just come across as immature and uneducated like you're attacking someone out of spite. What did anyone here do to you to provoke you? Granted its the interwebz and you're entitled to your opinion but you haven't expressed anything beneficial to this thread from the little I've seen. I hope you treat your customers with more respects than you treat people you've never met.

Sorry to the op. I know it as not related he just attracted my curiosity. Your build looks good I will continue to enjoy following it.

This is a ridiculous build lol, though I bet it will be more reliable than most at this point.

I Really want to see what kind of numbers this puts down after the initial brake-in tune and miles.

next week motor should start going back in. Tony @FA20Club.com is busy this week doing other stuff he had on the books so we shall all see soon enough.
Few ppl on here say they have built motors but nobody has shared any numbers or any kind of feedback as of yet that im aware of

Just remember to take it slowly man. Give the motor time to break-in before you turn up the boost and go for broke. Let Tony do the first few heat cycles. Do a conservative tune to put 1,000 or so break-in miles on it (lots of load and rpm variation along with lots of engine braking and heat cycles). Then do your strong pump gas map. Put some more miles on it at that power level before you do your come get it map.

Even on the initial break-in tune it's going to be fast enough to be dangerous
