@Trap63 are you getting the insufficient space message when installing bigger apps from the play store? I can't seem to fix this to get TomTom loaded.
I install tomtom from extsd cause I wasn't enable to install still as getting space error. So I free memory with no success. I googled the standalone apk and I don't know the reason why but now the system can install from googleplay all apk (larger and not) without space warning.
It seems is there a cache trouble sometimes.

Mega (Dotcom) is holed up here in New Zealand avoiding the Feds!

He has a new site www.mega.co.nz - at least until the USA extradite him from New Zealand. They are struggling though as a lot of the evidence may have been illegally obtained by our authorities so he may be here for good. There's worse countries in the world he could be forced to live!

Thanks @Trap63

I now have the tomtom files on an external SD in a directory called Tomtom. It now has a subdirectory called New_Zealand 1.1.1 and in that folder is an apk called
New Zealand_1.1.1_(1144008)_patched.apk. This is all on a micro SD card.

Once I put this micro SD card into my T7019A head unit do I simply run the apk file from there or do I copy all the files into a directory called on the internal SDcard called Tomtom and run it from there?

Just don't want to st*ff this up!

Thanks for your help!

simply run apk from memory. You find this option in setting "install from" or navigate with explorer to folder in SDcard and tap the apk to install.

Love it! Is that the stock interface on your model knock off or did you mock that up yourself?

The 'ipad dock' with the 5 shortcuts is stock.

All I did was removing the weather app then placing the music playing app widget on the homescreen and I used a self made wallpaper.

On the second homescreen I placed shortcuts of the most used programs: Task killer, Torque, Equaliser, Settings, Weather, ...

I prefer a clean look instead of a cluttered homescreen.

It came already rooted @krikke I think you mentioned earlier - correct?

Or, does it allow torque only and is still "locked down"?

Unit comes unrooted I think...

Torque does indeed works out of the box.
Torque developer included seperate coding into the Torque software so it can communicate with the USB port in case of the Ca-Fi or Ekoore.

Last week everything worked but after Torque update it didn't anymore. I sent email to Torque and got following answer:

"Thanks for pointing that out – the update was missing the native libraries for that unit (I’m fixing this now) – I’ll send out an update in a couple of hours to fix this issue"

And indeed, after the second update, Torque worked again!

I wonder if you could strip those apps out of the unit to load on another one. The radio tuner and what not that is. I dunno if that violates the software license for them. If it does, then disregard what I've asked. Not looking to be illegal.

What bluetooth dongle are you guys using? I went through everything I can find locally and nothing is on the list in the original post. I bought one just to try but no dice.

Would the asus BT-211 work? They only list 253 and 270 on that list
