UPDATES!!!

Updated the 3rd post with more sound clips Here

These clips were taken on a DynoDynamics Dyno so please excuse the dyno noise in the background!

In a week or two I will have the un-resonated Mid-pipe and will make comparison recordings.

Can't you attach the sound files to your post? I'm at work and can't access dropbox

What about the numbers gained on that Dyno Dynamics?

The numbers gained on the Dyno were fairly irrelivant because at the same time I was recording the clips my tuner was tuning the car. The base stock HP was 144 and once he was done it was 152. On the DynoJet that would be about the equivalent of going from 160 to around 175hp. DynoDynamics dyno's read on average about 20% lower than a DynoJet, they however are far more consistent and accurate than a DynoJet which is much better for Tuning.

Yea, I have had a few cars tuned on DynoDynamics. Cool, thanks for the info. The exhaust is beautiful! And off topic, I love Gir! "It's got peanuts and soap in em!"

I just installed the black version without the resonator. Here is a quick picture. I like the look on the DGM car.

Only issue I ran into is with the black powdercoat the retainers which are supposed to slip onto the exhaust hangers do not fit. I tried prying them a little with a screwdriver but the inner diameter is just too small to fit. I can't see any part of the exhaust ever coming off but I will make Perrin aware of the issue and maybe just use some hose clamps for the time being. The left tip also sits very slightly further out than the right one but I didn't feel like trying to fix it without the clamps.

dude, I LOVE the Perrin header back catted frontpipe exhaust
there is power down low where there was none, and at 4500 it starts and winds up to redline faster than before
really makes me love my car more, it drives so nice now

Looks so clean. Would you mind posting more pictures of your exhaust and possibly a video of the sound too? I'm really liking the stealth black finish and I just need one last nudge to get me to press the "submit order" button lol.

yes those retainers are snug on bare metal. Perrin needs to not powder coat the hangers or advise folks to sand them down if youre having an issue with those nifty hanger lock clamps. Try using a small hammer? drop of lube? good question for perrin to answer..minor but pertinent detail
