I would love more than anything to hand you the keys and have you take my car for a spin. But unfortunately Lotus aren't made for wookie.

What about clams? I'm a clam.

Garage
Family went to Disneyland in '65.
I'd seen the brand new tiny fiberglass 57 T-bird go carts they had for their newest attraction and obsessed about them for months before we drove down for the vacation.

Get to the ride and wait in the inevitable line for an hour or so - it seemed.
Turns out I was too short to drive the go cart.
My cousin drove and I had to passenger the whole way. He had fun.
I blubbered the whole afternoon. Gained a whole world view of corporate chicanery subsequently.

Unfortunately the Elise comes from the factory with two clams. There's no more seating for clams in the car...

My Exige came with 26 clams. Came with steamed clam lunch.

To be serious, Elise's can accommodate very tall individuals. It's the ingress/egress that is a huge pain. Try with the roof off and you might be surprised how big of a person can comfortably drive it. With that being said, the pedal box is tight (even for me, with size 8.5), so get your driving shoes on.

And to get back on-topic for a bit, I briefly drove an Ariel Nomad and it was by far the most joyous experience I had in a car. It felt absolutely special in every regard. Reminded me a lot of my first test drive in a BRZ, only dialed up to 11. I talked to the owner a lot before and after, and his take is that the Nomad is a usable Atom, something that you really can drive around with (rather than tow to the track). It's in my serious bucket list, despite all the compromises, displacing the Elise (which honestly suffers from quite a lot of the same compromises, and has a few more to boot).
