SPAL fan wiring

Installing the JDL kit and picked up an FBM shroud with Spal fans. I don't really want to cut the stock fan connectors on the harness, but I'm not finding compatible male connectors. Any advice? What do you all do when installing spal fans? I'm trying to keep things waterproof.

Use an external relay. OEM fan signal -> ignitor, relay power source to fan power. Ground is ground.

I'm trying to figure this out as well. I've created a diagram. Does this look correct?
