One BIG plus I like about the wheels on my Caterham is, they have a locking cover over the lug nuts. I have wondered why wheel manufactures haven’t built more with this type of theft protection built in.

Yes I know balance is a problem.
Just measure each lug nut to the gram and properly counter weight the lug holes to match before balancing, duh

Things like this make me glad I have a shop. But I think I should get locking lugs too for the cars and the shop and my toolbox’s so they can’t get into my tools. Can never be too careful. Am I missing anything else?

sorry spike

Thinking about getting wheels stolen, I went out to my garage to see if I had wheel locks on my FRS. I couldn't remember.

When I got into the garage my car wasn't there! Oh yes, I remembered that I had loaned it to my daughter a few days ago because she got her car totaled.

Which reminded me of the time my sister "borrowed" my father's car, after he had pulled several stunts - like pulling away from a gas pump without disconnecting the gas filler hose. After all, he was in his mid 90s.

She decided he was too old to drive, so, after she "borrowed" his car, she never returned it!

Wait one? Do you think my daughter is going to return my car?

Ask Mrs. Humfrz. We both know how this works.

We took our granddaughters home tonight after they spent Friday night with us.

Yep, there in their driveway was my FRS. They are supposed to get a rental tomorrow. Mrs humfrz told me that my son-in-law put a "club" on it for security reassurances.

OR, did my daughter put the club on it so that I couldn't "borrow" it back? -

They want the new tires more than the rims.

Well rounded hot wrench usually finishes off everything in the way.
