Technically, the first screen used Batmobile was a 1939 Cadillac Series 75 Convertible used in a 1943 serial. With the top down, it was Bruce Wayne's car, with the top up it was the Batmobile.

Yea, I read that too. I don't think the car I posted was ever on screen. I think it was only used as a promo vehicle for a dairy that sold DC comics approved "batman" ice cream. It was built in the early '60s.
