New Koni GTS Coilovers

I searched and was surprised that there is no posts related to this. Looks like Koni has launched their new GTS Coilovers and has fitment for the GR/BRZ.

Has anyone tried these yet?

Too bad their website doesn't seem to tell you anything actually important about them. I can't find any hard specifications.

Spring rate seems to be 6k front 7k rear. I emailed them asking about camber adjustment, drop and travel.

Few more specs received

The overall stroke of the dampers is 127mm in the front, and 116mm in the rear. The kit allows for 20mm – 55mm of lowering from the factory ride height.

This is correct. I emailed them a couple of months ago and they replied to me that they are 350lbs/in Frt and 400lbs/in Rr which converts to approx. 6K and 7K like you said. I emailed them about the finish, material and if they are Made in Germany but they never responded.

Holding off for more reviews but I don't think Koni will ever release a bad product. I've used Koni Yellows x H&Rs on 2 of my previous cars with no issues.

It may not be a bad product but it’s hard to tell what they’re good for without knowing spring rates, twin tube vs monotube, re-valvability, and what the adjustment knob is supposed to do. They didn’t even bother putting up marketing damper dynos.

Things I could find through people. 350 front, 400 rear. Twin tube. Linear damping. Rebound damping adjustment.

From koni "The overall stroke of the dampers is 127mm in the front, and 116mm in the rear. The kit allows for 20mm – 55mm of lowering from the factory ride height."

Koni is a Dutch company, not German, and that's where their factory is - in Oud-Beijerland, the Netherlands.

Got a reply from KONI.

The GTS dampers are produced in our main production facility in Holland, on the same lines as our Sport, and Special ACTIVE dampers. The bodies are powder coated, and the threads have black e-coating (KPL) for ultimate corrosion protection.
