Last time, almost two years ago now, they told me they didn’t have a carb cert tune for 2020 cars. |

I can't stop banging my head on the wall with this car...
After fixing the intake manifold gasket leak, all was well. About 3 weeks later (now), I start to notice sharp hesitations again while giving throttle. It started acting up in 6th gear on the highway going 75mph. Went to check my fuel trims and they are all over the place again. Long term at -14% and short term at 7% right as I pulled into a parking lot. Something is occurring with my car as these are the same symptoms I experience at the end of last year. Is it possible the OEM gaskets cannot hold the boost pressure and create tears if feeding too much throttle? I know which road this will take me with these symptoms. I'm not sure what else to do at this point except keep replacing the intake manifold gasket every 3 weeks... ![]() |

ltft -14% while stft 7% doesn t mean necessarily that is bad.. don t you have a complete drive around log of your car? are you using their carb tune ?

I am under assumption that those trims mean I am running lean. |

No, actually would be the contrary, a total sum of -7% means your commanded fuel injection is 7% higher than required
but in reality is neither lean or rich since you were just right in the parking lot, i assume you were near idle or low load anyway, so it was in closed loop and the ecu always adjust the afr to meet the target, using those two trims but without a log is all an assumption, you d need to record a log of some random driving plus a full throttle 3rd gear pull from 2000rpm to redline |

Make sure your MAF is not fouled up either; the filter provided by K&N tends to be over-oiled. |

I don't think an undamaged OEM gasket would continually not hold pressure, with the regular sized pulley and clean/undamaged mating surfaces....or there'd be multiple posts about it in this Thread. Don't give up, the end result is worth the journey !

Just received the CEL code of P0507 - Idle Rpm higher than expected. Checked for air leaks found none after doing a smoke test. And my idle rpm's sit at 1,000 - 1,200. Any one encounter this situation before or know where to look? I'm also not sure if this is tuning related or not.

that idle is too high and could interfere with vvt activation actually, do you have a log of your car?
