Are you referring to the "old compound" HP+ or the new ones?. Hawk revised the HP+ compound in mid-July 2018 and sells it as the "HP+ (enhanced compound)".


Hawk claims the HP+ enhanced offer the same braking performance of their old "street/race" compound pads (which I believe are also sold as the "DTC-30" pad without camfering on the pad edges) but with significantly lower rotor and pad wear rates. I ran the new compound HP+ on track last year and found they had pretty amazing stopping power. I've thought about trying the DTC-60s this season, but we'll have to see.
