I've used several POR-15 products. Good stuff.

Guess I was thinking old school, and since he is AT it does not have a gear indicator to mess up.

Will do. I decided to wait a little bit for the weather to warm up. It was -5 this morning.. lol

I've done the same process to my sx4 using black with VHT caliper paint. This stuff is supposed to lay down flatter and thicker than VHT. Pic here of VHT on my sx4.

I am interested to seeing how it holds up. I grabbed their kit which includes everything down to the brushes.

I have access to about 5,000 gallons of the zinc coating used on rotors so am going to prime with that.

I don't want red. I am trying to get rid of all the exterior colours that are not green, black or bronze. No red, amber or chrome allowed.

No, "old school" speed-o-meters had a cable that ran from the transmission to the speed-o-meter head.

What year is this? Why am I still here at home?

My '17 AT does have a gear indicator on the dash and it seemed to work fine when I took it out today for the first time with the 4.30s. I didn't notice any issues with the swap and it did exactly what I installed it to do, which was to improve pick up after a low throttle shift and up my highway cruise rpm slightly. It really compliments the e-force by bringing up the engine rpm out of the bog range.

Yeah, I remember my old school days of swapping gears in fox mustangs back in the early 90's and messing around with those stupid speedo cable gears. Never could get them to seal up trans fluid once taken apart. Went through more gear sets and transmissions in those days than I can count. Split a couple blocks in half too pushing lots of boost. My 86 takes me back to those days being so fun and rewarding to modify.

How about fluorescent, metallic, lime green?

Seriously, think about it - set your car off from the rest -

Then all you would need is a brush and paint.

It was cheaper for me to order directly from the distributor over Amazon.
