@rt you make me wish I would have gone for 255 instead of 245 on those wheels. The 245 has a bit of stretch but yours is so pretty and square.

Saw your post in the 57CR thread. The gun blue isn't as blue as I thought so it's making me wish I got those instead.

Btw just noticed my rear is rubbing slightly after some spirited driving so I'll have to roll the quarters. Not that bad though since I didn't even feel it, just happened to look at the tires after and it was barely there in the pic I posted earlier.

That sucks about the rubbing. That was something I was worried about going with a 9 inch wheel. I haven't really pushed the car yet but so far none for me. The wheels are mostly gray but in direct sunlight you can tell they are blue. Hard to capture in a picture though.

If you have the right offset it should be no worry at all, looks like @rt could be prevented if it was a +40 instead of +38. Shame that's the expensive direction to change offset.

With 17x9+45 and 245 tires the dampers run out of travel before the wheel/tire hits anything, and plenty of clearance to stuff a 255 under there, maybe even a 265. I run a 5mm spacer to prevent rubbing at full lock.

But then again I guess a lot of this thread is about looks and "flushness" so that solution probably isn't too welcome.

you sure you're not rubbing on the bumper tab in the rear? how sure are you your'e rubbing on the bumper. usually if you rub it gashes the sidewall, doesn't look like thats whats happening here.

You're right actually. I took a closer look a few days after and it's just rubbing the bumper tab so no need to roll! Forgot to follow up here.

You can just shave the tabs so they're shorter.
