Do you have a ring compressor? Did the rings fit in the bore before you fit them to the pistons? Did you check the ring gaps?

the issue seems to be the width of the oil ring and the rail being larger..we tried getting it in but theres no play inside the ring groove and wont compress, resulting the rail not getting in.. the rings are of standard size but I don't know boring the cylinder might be a way.
