For the traction mod install, I do recommend supporting the subframe with a jack (or a big strong friend if you're on a lift) even doing it 1 side at a time. Just to be safe and it does make it slightly easier. Not a lot of extra effort to do it that way. I do also recommend getting the STI pillowball trailing arm to go along with this mod if you can. Certainly not required but I think it really makes the most of the change. - Andrew |

Cool so what's the point of loosening the two smaller bolts that connect on the body side ? I would think removing the big bolt would be enough. That bracket doesn't need to move as the traction mod connects to it.
It's not a major deal but I know one of my smaller bolts is stripped so I am hoping to not touch it lol. Else I need to get a tap/die kit along with a new bolt lol

Also having those two small bolts loose allows you to wiggle the bracket side to side to make sure the big bolt threads back in perfectly. Since you have a small bolt that’s been stripped I would probably just leave it tight and make sure the subframe is strongly supported on that corner. |

Yeah that makes a lot of sense. I was planning to support the frame anyway and was kinda surprised they didn’t. Thanks !
