wouldn't have expected Ocon to win a race for Alpine before Alonso, but that's the way it goes sometimes. Alonso practically won the race for him with his massive gonads blocking the road. I'm a massive Alonso fan (if you can't tell already), and I pray that he has a fast car next year. 40-year-old grandpa still has it!

It was interesting to see how much more careful Ham was with Alonso than he was with Verstappen. You could see the gears working. Hamilton was convinced, against all the evidence I've seen, that Max would back out if pressured in Copse. The world saw what happened when he didn't.

Hamilton had no such illusions about Alonso. Stick your nose in with Fernando and he'll cut it off, and then turn around and cut off your balls to boot. god, that was fun to watch. If not for that slip in turn 1 Alonso would still be in front today.

The difference is Hamilton was ok with crashing out if it meant Max also wouldn't increase his lead. He was not ok taking that risk with Alonso because Max would get more points if he crashed out and took Alonso with him.
