The perfect fit most awesome head unit for the 86/brz/frs

http://ausdroid.net/2016/02/12/jvcke...year/ddx916ws/

this appears to be the best head unit, it has android auto/carplay capacitive touch and it is 200mm, the 200mm head units look awesome in the dash, but there hasn't been one that had android auto yet so this seems like the perfect fit, cant wait till may, doesn't appear to be available in any other countries yet

I still think "Brainiac" has the best head unit for the FRS

If you get the 1500 dollar unit I would agree with you. The 700 dollar unit is a universal double din and will still require brackets in order to fit.

As for the OPs head unit, I looked into that and it is indeed a badass head unit. However it was not released in the states so I am not sure how anyone in the US would go about acquiring one.

Kenwood DDX916WS with 7" wide display
http://www.kenwood.com/au/car/visual...tion/ddx916ws/

200mm wide double DIN to fit Toyota, Subaru and Mitsubishi(?) without need for a spacer.

Features I need
Nice extras
What I dislike
  • AU$1,099 price tag
  • Available in Malaysia and Australia so far. :-|
  • Wish it was 8" wide screen at 1280x720p or 1920x1080p instead of 800x480p
Photo below is installed on a Toyota Fortuner SUV.
