This car scares the hell out of me in snow

Instantly stuck merging onto interstate. Was worried I was going to get hit, decided to stay in the vehicle since there was no safe place to stand. I was famous for a moment, heard about my stalled vehicle on the radio. White knuckle ride!!!

Snow tires. Get them or leave the car at home when it snows.

This car is amazingly predictable with snow tires. On side streets with no cars it's fun to test the nannies out by flooring it and whipping the steering wheel back and forth and watching the car deal with it. Wouldn't dare try that in a Mustang

Seems like common sense to rock snow tires in the snow

Glad you're okay, dude--we were worried about you on the STL 86 Club Facebook group.

Get snow tires--my car was rock solid going in to work this AM.

I love this car in the snow and snow tires are definitely a must. The only issues I've had pertained to ground clearance and getting up snowy/icy hills. I feel like the Drift King any time the roads are snowy. The car is really easy to predict and control as long as you're paying attention.

Yes, snow tires are a must. Unfortunately, I don't have a garage. Swapping them is on my list of things for next season. Probably doesn't help that the car is lowered one inch. Felt it high center on merge, could not accelerate enough to get into proper lane and by then it was too late.

My car amazes me in this weather. Always calm and predictable, nice and warm to boot. Also in a garage, because I have a beat up old Cherokee for this weather.

I have to agree with the others. You're on the wrong tires. With a set of winter tires, this is one of the easiest cars to drive in snow. It's very predictable. It changes direction willingly. It's very composed. Yes it gets tossed around by bigger ridges in the snow and whatnot, but it's also easy to correct for them. It's also unstoppable. The girl in the car in front of me has a two inch drop, and she did get stuck at one point, but she was plowing through 8" of snow, and it just took a bit of back and forth to get her going again.
