It looks like a 1.75 din. I have an Alpine IVA 205 in my Tacoma (not my actual pic but I also have a double din unit) so here is a comparison.

Why would they bother with the normal box-shaped ICE if they aren't going to make it double-DIN for easy swapping? Everybody else is going with the integrated panel stereos these days

It will likely be swapable, the radio, Scion likes to have a bunch of audio options available.

I really think the interior is going to be very nice, the new 2012 Yaris just came in and the interior is super nice for $17k !!! Awesome design and much better materials than the last gen. And I hated the old Yaris interior.
