Wow 9k for a 2013 FRS with 219k miles. Seems overpriced I did a KBB on my BRZ with 168k and that was only 8k that's before I add my list of mods. It might be worth looking for a better deal on the car first before buying a body kit and wheels.

It's your money so you can do what you want, but I'd stay away from a 2013 with that high mileage. And like everyone else has said. If you want to go wide, do it right the first time around so you're not throwing money down the drain or breaking stuff because you tried to do it on a budget.

Widebody/low cars are not something you do on a budget. That's how you end up with a car that's in the shop more than actually being driven, and this car is meant to be driven.

and these spacers

Do you all think that would be wide enough for this kit?

Before you all start roasting me about it being from ebay, my friend bought that kit, and he drifted in to a sand block thing and it held up very well. so, all in all do you guys think it will look good? the car is white, and im thinking of keeping the kit black
here is the car im looking at.

Honestly..

Just get some solid photos of your buddy's car, some solid photos of the wheels you're considering, and have someone photoshop them onto the buddy's car.

Seems you're kinda jumping into this quickly when there are muuuch easier ways than asking rando's on the internet what they think (plus, shouldn't this be a matter of what you think of it since you're putting the money into it and going to own it? ).

I feel like you should get the car first and drive it before planning to do anything with it. As this is your first car I know it's exciting to plan a build ahead of time thinking you know what you want to do. I was like you when I first got the car as this was also my first "performance" car of any kind and let me tell you, if I had the money for all the parts I wanted to get at the time, I would have probably hated how my car looked right now. Just wanted to share my thoughts with you!

my first car, a 1994 chrysler lebaron front-wheel-drive, i heavily researched making it rwd, and installing a v8 under the hood.

i went so far as to make a very comprehensive cardomain page about it. around the same time that most info was on geocity pages. neither of which exist anymore...

but after 4 years and too many repair bills, i sold it to carmax for scrap value just to be rid of it. never even started the plan i had.

first cars are fun to dream with. but they should not be modded.

Thank you sir, see I have a friend who has an FR-S, and he has done the same thing I want to do, he has had it that way since 2015 and haven't changed it one bit. the only thing he changed has ben the paint color. He loves it and so do I. I wish every time I see it I had it.
I am just very eager for it, i have the money, but I'm doing for the moment just aesthetics and then after that i'll get on performance. I am just very excited.
